January 3, 2009 journal, Israel continues their attack on Gaza even on this Sabbath day. News reports this morning say that most of the people they are killing are not civilians. I see that the people of Gaza have no choice because they cannot fight Hamas themselves. They simply get blown away in their own homes by the Israeli American backed army. The press is not being permitted in the warzone & our president has a smirk on his face. Israel needs to learn a lesson to let God fight their battles for them as he has promised. I do not understand why Hamas is firing off their toy rockets into Israeli territory other than to intimidate Israel who settles their own people in harm's way along their border. Seven days of shelling Gaza and now they have invaded with tanks and ground troops. The death toll is more than 450 people with thousands wounded and 100 children killed by these barbarians, the same people that attacked New York and operate Wall Street. This Israeli invasion is a savage bloody massacre with a hundred civilians already killed. The end of this monstrous police state bureaucracy is finally in sight as dollar runs out. Chrysler's sales was down 53% in December, even Honda & Toyota was down 35%. Foreign central banks cashed in $89 billion in American securities in the last 30 days. Gaza is a sovereign democratic state elects its leaders with scheduled political elections. Israel attacked our U.S.S. Liberty unarmed spy ship years back and almost destroyed it killing dozens of sailors as they intended to blame the attack upon Egypt to provoke war. "Jeremy R Hammond says Israel violated the cease-fire aggreement and not the Hamas. Israel never observed the cease-fire to begin with. From the beginning, it announced a "special security zone" within the Gaza Strip and announced that Palestinians who enter this zone will be fired upon. In other words, Israel announced its intention that Israeli soldiers would shoot at farmers and other individuals attempting to reach their own land in direct violation of not only the cease-fire but international law. Despite shooting incidents, including ones resulting in Palestinians getting injured. Hamas still held to the cease-fire from the time it went into effect on June 19 until Israel effectively ended the truce on November 4 by launching an airstrike into Gaza that killed five and injured several others. Israel's violation of the cease-fire predictably resulted in retaliation from militants in Gaza who fired rockets into Israel in response. The increased barrage of rocket fire at the end of December is being used as justification for the continued Israeli bombardment, but is a direct response by militants to the Israeli attacks. Israel's actions, including its violation of the cease-fire, predictably resulted in an escalation of rocket attacks against its own population." I would be willing to go hungry to see the military without weapons to kill people with hoping and praying that this saga will soon be over. Water should be filtered so it is relatively clear. This can be done by pouring the water through a box or bag filled with clean sand. Put filtered water in a clear container, glass is best, but plastic will do. Set the water in the bright sunlight for six hours. The ultraviolet (UV) kills the pathogens in the water. If weather is cold you can put the container in a black box with a glass side facing the sun. This should raise the temperature to an appropriate level. In bright cloudy weather the process takes two days. Water is essential to life. In a grid down situation water filtration plants might cease to function making entire cities uninhabitable. Clean water must be the highest priority". I agree.
